A 16-year-old boy has tragically died after being shot in a shocking incident in south London. The Metropolitan Police reported that the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene on Paradise Road, near Stockwell Tube station, after officers were called around 15:20 GMT to respond to reports of a shooting1.

Efforts are underway to identify the victim and notify his family, but no arrests have been made so far1. Superintendent Gabriel Cameron expressed his condolences, stating, "Our thoughts are with the young boy's family at this devastating time." He acknowledged the distress this incident would cause the local community and assured that local officers are actively gathering CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses to piece together the events1.
